The booth at the Arkansas Valley Fair was a huge success. We were able to complete 177 id's on local children. We started on August 11 and went through August 15. Thanks to all that worked on getting this project done. We have talked a little about doing this as an ongoing project and getting our own equipment. We will be discussing it at the September 2 meeting.

We will be having a booth at the Arkansas Valley Fair, August 11-15. We will be fingerprinting and photographing children to give this information to parents in case they have a lost child. Times will be published later as we get a schedule set up. Volunteers are appreciated.
The first annual Chili Cook off was held on May 22, 2010. There were 5 entries from brothers Gary Hendren, Keith Benbow, Ervin Meechem, Wayne Whittaker, and Ron Hendren. We had every person that tested each of the different chili's vote on their favorite. The winner of the first trophy was Keith Benbow. We are going to look at the suggestions that were given for the next years cook off.

On April 1 the regular meeting of St. John's Lodge Number 75 was held at the lodge hall. Prior to the meeting a dinner was held at El Capitan restaurant. Following dinner the order of the Sword of Bunker Hill was put on by brethren from Pueblo for 12 brothers, 11 from the valley and one from Pueblo. A wonderful time was had by all and the degree work was enlightening.
